Dr. Anna Cornaro, is currently Chair of the Department of Architecture and Associate Professor of Architecture at the American University in Dubai (AUD). She combines academic research and professional practice as associate principal in the international awarded architecture office COdESIGN.
Associate Editor Middle East for the architecture International Magazine Compasses.
She has a Phd in Theory of Architecture Design from Sapienza University in Rome, has been free researcher at the University of Tokyo.
As teacher she works on both lecture and studio courses. Her journey is oriented to the integration of the learning by doing method in Courses of Theory and History of Architecture. She is promoter of a deep innovation in pedagogy using mobile applications and new social media platforms
Author of articles and papers in Conference Proceedings, Journal and specialized magazine on urban space, urban microsystems, exhibit design, spaces for mental disease, heritage. She is member of scientific committees for International Conferences and International Research Workshop
She also presented papers in International Conference on Innovation in Teaching.
Many of her projects have been awarded and exhibited all over the world.
